Prezis partners with Robin Radar and Hyllus to develop a Dutch integrated Mobile Counter-UAS solution 

Prezis announces today with Robin Radar Systems and Hyllus Systems a strategic partnership to design, develop and commercialise a fully Dutch-built Mobile Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS). The collaboration brings together three of the Netherlands’ most advanced defence technology companies to deliver an end-to-end solution capable of detecting, tracking, classifying and neutralising hostile drone threats across maritime domains. 

The announcement comes as NATO allies and security agencies face a rapidly escalating drone threat. Low-flying, slow-moving UAS have proven capable of evading conventional air defence systems, exposing military installations, critical infrastructure and civilian populations to a new class of aerial risk, one underscored daily by operational experience in Ukraine and beyond.

An Integrated Kill Chain, built in the Netherlands 

The partnership unites three complementary specialisms into a single, sovereign capability: 

Prezis serves as system integrator, bringing together all components through its proven operational Command & Control (C2) platform. This software forms the backbone of a fully integrated Counter-UAS architecture, combining warhead control, user interface, project management, and platform integration into a single operational framework. The platform delivers a coherent, real-time airspace picture while simultaneously processing up to 180 detections. Enhanced classification capabilities enable the system to determine the nature and severity of each threat, improving operational effectiveness, and provide the consortium with a complete, scalable, and operationally deployable Counter-UAS capability. 

Robin Radar Systemscontributes real-world experience and understanding of drone warfare alongside its IRIS radar, a combat-proven, 360° detection and classification system capable of identifying drone threats at extended range, on the move, and in complex electromagnetic environments. With 40 years of radar heritage, 35+ patents, and deployments with NATO air forces and allied defence agencies, Robin Radar provides the detection backbone of the system. 

Hyllus Systems delivers the interceptor layer: an autonomous drone designed for last-mile precision engagement of hostile UAS, minimising collateral risk and cost-per-kill. 

The planned integrated architecture is designed to operate as a standalone C-UAS capability or as a plug-in layer within existing air defence networks. It is deployable on maritime vessels, giving commanders flexible, scalable protection wherever the threat emerges.

Together with Prezis and Hyllus Systems, we are combining Dutch expertise across detection, command and control, and interception to deliver an integrated counter-UAS capability designed for today’s operational realities. 

Sovereign, scalable, combat-ready 

The consortium’s solution addresses a critical gap in European defence: the absence of an end-to-end, domestically developed maritime counter-drone system not dependent on foreign supply chains or technology licenses. Designed from the ground up for the operational realities of modern conflict and border security, the system targets Class 2 UAS threats operating below the detection floor of legacy air defence infrastructure. 

The three companies have signed a Letter of Intent and are now progressing toward a formal Cooperation Agreement, with system development and customer qualification activities to follow.
